We tried one of these instead of the big desk calendar last year and loved it. It can fold up easily out of the way like a pamphlet, but holds the entire year together. No more ripping off pages month by month. Plenty of room to write everything needed and extra column at the side for notes. We also like the way that the beginning and end of weeks not in that month are put in lightly so you can see ahead or behind a bit without turning the page. Won't go back to the desk calendars.
